WOYWW - How did the tidy up go?

Hi, welcome back for another Wednesday! Where did the time go?

As usual.. you can join in this lovely blog hop hosted by Julia at Stamping Ground.

Last week I mentioned that my family is coming and I needed to tidy my craft room... so how did that go...

I'm glad this isn't a panoramic view of my desk.. it gives the illusion of tidy!
Ok..ok.. so my desk is a little more clear, but that was mostly because I needed the space to pack for a Pauline Butcher Inky Workshop which I went to last Sunday, and a place to put my makes when I came home.

Inky Workshop makes using crystal technique and lolly sticks
I really enjoy the workshops as not only do I learn new things but I get to see the lovely Inky Crew who are a huge part of my Crafty Family.

I mentioned that I participated in an art montage for our local YMCA. Mine is the small Community Spirit circle in this post.

My company are running a Wellbeing Week and have left us a pile of squishy Lego to play with.. want to see what I made? Click here :)

Lastly, as the kitties stole the show last week.. and the fame went to Biscuit' s head.. here is another snap of her being.. well.. her!

Biscuit is tired out from reading all her fan mail from last week's post!
Next week I will show you the garden... it's finally almost done after 6 years of graft!

Sumbunneh hugs x

  4. I LOVE the lolly stick art. What a lovely way to hide the true use of these. And your desk looks TONS better to me, even if only in the part on camera.

I could do with some of those squishy legos. They look like fun and yes, DEstressing, too.

Biscuit deserves to get a big head. Kudos to all the cats, but mostly to Biscuit this week. Happy WOYWW from # 6.

  16. Well, it seems I missed biscuit last week but I have seen her now and she looks so contented. Maybe she is "the cat that got the cream" after her fan mail.
Love your inky makes - the humming bird is particularly beautiful but then they fascinate me when I go to California and a friend there has lots in her garden. Just wish they stayed still enough to photograph. Lovely tag!
Hugs, Neet 4 xx (and thanks for the visit to me when I was otherwise occupied with visitors yesterday)

  17. Hi Erica, ooh it took me a minute to get that the background was the sticks :) I kept thinking that maybe it was how the colors were applied and then I kept thinking oh maybe she meant a straw ( since they look more circular the colors on the top of the background) first cuppa coffee here haha. but, then my eyes backed up and I "got it" :) ~Stacy #28

  21. That little hummingbird plaque is absolutely stunning, Erika - just gorgeous! So clever too, with the lolly sticks. Your little Biscuit is adorable! She is very pretty. Enjoying a well-earned rest. Thank you for your lovely comment last week and I'm sorry to be so long replying - as you will see from this week's WOYWW, I've been extremely busy and will continue to be so for the foreseeable future, I think.

Happy very belated WOYWW from last week!
