WOYWW - Happy New Year and number 500!

Hello Fellow Bloggers and Readers,

First of all, let me wish you all a very Happy New Year. May it be bright and full of creativity!

Today I am joining in on WOYWW hosted by the lovely Julia at The Stamping Ground. Apparently this is the 500th WOYWW edition.. how cool it that!! I am going to try to be here more often this year :)

Without further adieu.. here is my desk in its current state.

Taken just a moment ago!

Over the holidays, I spent a couple of hours tidying my space and no time creating in it... well apart from painting another cat treat pot green. This one will be used to hold various craft supplies.. paintbushes and palette knives.. the other one will be for my pens.. and the unpainted one.. well.. it holds scissors.

So far, I am not sure where my green pot will take me.. but I think it may go the same way as my suitcase which I started at Pauline's Inky Workshop in December. (Blank MDF suitcase is available from Candy Box Crafts).

My Suitcase.. so far!

Anyway, I hope you have all had a good festive period... and as I know you will have missed her.. here is a little photo of Biscuit :)

Biscuit at 10 to midnight on NYE... she was so tired, as was I.. but we made it to see in the new year

Hugs,

Erika x

  7. Happy New Year Erika & Biscuit we made it to midnight although my eyes were similar to biscuits. Your suitcase looks very handy. Thank you for your earlier visit, The Dorset Buttons are not difficult at all although the smaller size ones can be quite fiddly, good creative fun though.

  9. Thanks for dropping in on me yesterday....I'm playing catch up today with my replies.
We were suffering cough/cold bugs over the New Year so it was amazing that we just about managed to see the fireworks in London on the telly. Pretty cat :-)
Hope you have a good 2019.

  16. Aw lovely Erika, so good to see you at WOYWW, sorry to be late visiting! I like a useful pot to put things in [as did Winnie the Pooh), and when you’ve got pots like that, you can’t just throw them out, huh! you could glue them together into a round and stick em on a lazy Susan if you’ve got space...super accessible! Wish you both a happy New Year and good crafting!

  17. As soon as I saw Biscuit I went 'awww' - what a cutie! Pets make the world a happier place, don't they? I'm planning to alter a cat treat tin as well for storage - mine's square - not sure what I will keep in it yet. Thanks so much for your visit earlier - sorry I'm a bit late coming back to you - but it's still not too late to wish you a Happy New Year! zsuzsa #19

  18. A very tidy desk, Erika - but then I think most people's desks weren't too busy for this particular WOYWW despite it being the Big 500, because of when it took place, and we have all been busy with other things! Nice to think of your cat treat tins being upcycled for art use! Biscuit looks adorable - so pretty! I'd love to see a picture of all 3 of yours on the cat tree! Thank you for your visit and I'm sorry to be so long replying but life has been very busy this week and I've got pretty tired as well. I am so glad you enjoyed seeing our kitties - they have been so sweet since the weather got colder, cuddling up and washing each other and sitting on my lap and keeping me warm! They are very affectionate. I'm glad you like my knitting, too. It's coming on quite well. I really need to tackle some of my other UFOs soon though (UnFinished Objects!) - each New Year I say I am going to tackle them, and all that happens is that I generate more...

Happy New Year and happy belated 100th WOYWW,
